Being sick is an excellent opportunity to grow in those eye brow hairs you accidentally pulled the other day. Yes, after this sinus pressure an sore throat decides to leave it will most definitely be time for a good eye brow grooming. And house cleaning. My current cold sick piggy backed Thanksgiving weekend and I have a thorough decluttering to do before the Christmas decorations can come out.

Craig is on his way to the sickies and I think Layla is too. She is highly emotional over my choice of TV shows (I can only watch Disney for so long.) What a gift yesterday though- I was absolutely leveled and I always have intense guilt when I have to leave Layla to her play things and shows without me bopping around doing my thing with her. Low and behold, God let me ge sick on the day that Disney channel was playing the first two Tinkerbell movies, one right after the other. Layla was so happy that I couldn’t say no to her watching them and I was able to get the rest I needed.

Being sick is also a good time to catch up on your cooking shows. Bobby Flay was cooking up a mean grilled chicken and greek salad yesterday… holy moly. I can’t taste anything, but my mouth is watering just thinking about how good it must be.

The dogs are barkier than usual, but I seem to be able to ignore it better with cold meds in my system. Dummies.

They say, “feed a cold; starve a fever.” But what if you have a fever with a cold?

It snowed this morning. It’s all pretty much gone now, but it was nice to see a sprinkling over the fences and rooftops. Juliet was right as rain as she got ready for school so I am hoping that she will escape the stuffiness this round.

Aaah, medicated ramblings…

I feel like I could have written this post - minus the kiddos and Disney channel. I also have been struck with a nasty sinus infection and ear infection. Pre-doctors appointment and prescription meds I was just a gross headachey snotty mess, but now I’m wandering around in fog (perhaps driving today was not a good idea).
Feel better! I’m sending good thoughts of clarity and lotioned tissues your way! Much love!

Awww, it seems as if the sickness has hit hard already this season. I hope you feel better soon! If you like Michael Buble’ - he is on Regis and Kelly today. {wink} I almost wish I was sick! lol
